TCMC Founding President and Dean honored at portrait unveiling ceremony

Scranton, Pennsylvania – On Monday, February 27, Robert M. D’Alessandri, MD, Founding President and Dean of The Commonwealth Medical College (TCMC) was honored at a portrait unveiling ceremony at the Medical Sciences Building in Scranton. The portrait, painted by nationally recognized American portrait artist, John Ennis, was sponsored by Alan Goldstein, local entrepreneur and businessman.

Lois Margaret Nora, MD, JD, TCMC Interim President and Dean, welcomed staff, faculty, students and invited guests to the evening’s event followed by the portrait unveiling by third year medical students Meg Mathewson of Dallas and Joseph Marchese of Scranton. The portrait of Dr. D’Alessandri is displayed in the lobby of the Medical Sciences Building.
