TCMC medical student sings national anthem at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees game

Scranton, PA –Holly Catherine Gillis, Class of 2013, sang the national anthem to open the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees vs. Charlotte Knights game on May 17. Ms. Gillis opened the night’s game at 7:02 pm, followed by the first pitch at 7:05 pm. 

Ms. Gillis was asked to sing the national anthem following her win at The Scranton Times Tribune National Anthem Tryouts held at the Steamtown Mall on Saturday, March 6.  More than 150 singers participated.
