Marywood University Physician Assistant Program students and staff and the TCMC Student Oncology Society are collaborating to host Scranton's Shine A Light on Lung Cancer Vigil. This is the second time Marywood has planned this event and the first time students from TCMC are collaborating in the planning.

The free event will be held at Marywood University's Latour Room at 7:30 pm on November 1, 2020.

The vigil will start with a musical performance by the local group "The Forgiven Band" and will continue with brief presentations by several physicians. The vigil will conclude with a video honoring people affected by lung cancer in the Scranton area. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

To participate further, community members may send a photo of their loved one who has been affected by lung cancer to [email protected].
