The Commonwealth Medical College’s Information Services and Technologies Department (ITS) provides overall design, development and management of the College’s information technology environment in support of the College’s mission and curriculum.

My TCMC
“My TCMC” is an internal portal that allows students, faculty
and staff to have a virtual view of the institution and the resources
available to them. The portal provides online course support and
facilitates activities such as groups and organizations, wikis, blogs
and select resources. It also serves as a vehicle for communicating with
students via news/RSS feeds, announcements, task management, calendar
events, and more.
Faculty members use the portal to post course assignments, documents, announcements, grades, etc. for each of their classes. They also use the discussion board to collaborate with the class. The My TCMC portal also provides students, staff and faculty with in depth information about:

The portal contains the audio/video delivery system and allows students to view or download course content at any time to a variety of form factors and devices including both browser enabled computers and the latest mobile devices. Classroom capture software is available to faculty members enabling them to provide students with an audio and video record of lectures and laboratory sessions through the portal.
Technology Development Center
The Technology Development Center, located in the TCMC
Library, serves as a resource for faculty and students and provides
support for technology issues, education and training for optimal use of
technology. Faculty created content is available 24/7 and instructors
and staff can easily post and change content on their own. The
Technology Development Center is equipped with audio, photo and video
editing software, as well as desktop publishing software, a high quality
printer, Scantron machine and scanner.
